Examination of the cleaning properties of tablet cleaning fluid

In an ongoing effort to introduce more experimentation to inspire some more people to perform their own experiments, I examined the cleaning properties of hama tablet cleaning fluid:

It's 7cm * 2cm * 1,5cm large so it fits easily in your pocket, comes with a sort of sponge or wipe to clean the fluid of the screen and holds 2,6 ml. The vial was quickly empty though after about 50 sprays, which I counted by filling it up to the top with water again after the disinfectant had run out. So, at about 3 sprays per application that makes 17 application. The CDC recommends cleaning your phone every day, so this tablet cleaning fluid would barely last over a measly two weeks.

I tested the cleaning properties with a couple of different materials and will just list them and their results below. As far as method goes, I just applied the material on an old smartphone display, possibly let it dry shortly and then applied a sufficient amount of cleaning fluid and wiped down with the sponge.

Results:

SprayZ A Pen, red; applied through SprayZ A Pen valve: Has completely come off;

SprayZ A Pen, detail pen; applied directly: Has completely come off

Staedtler Non Permanent Marker, black: Has completely come off

Staedtler Permanent Marker, lumocolor, blue: Has completely come off

Stabilo Universal Permanent OHPen, black: Has completely come off

Edding 3000 Permanent Marker, black: Has completely come off

Pritt Original Glue Stick: Smudges of glue were still visible; even after applying more disinfectant and multiple attempts, the display was still sticky

So, the only material that wasn't easily wiped away was the glue stick! I then tried two other methods to remove it:

-"White Rum Captain Morgan", 37,5%: Similarily to the tablet cleaning fluid, the glue stick did leave traces

-"Denk Mit Hygiene Spray - Disinfection": Completely wiped away all glue, no traces to be found

All in all, I'd say our tablet cleaning spray performed pretty well, it's also pretty handy and compact, only the filling capacity can be critzised;
